ChatGPT Plus credit

The reason to buy AI credit with crypto is rarely privacy theatre. It is that the card you have does not work on the provider's billing page — wrong country, wrong issuer, a bank that declines anything that looks like a foreign subscription. Crypto sidesteps the card network entirely, and the subscription bills against credit that is already sitting on your own account.

Why this is credit and not an account

There is a whole market of sellers offering "ChatGPT Plus accounts" for less than this costs. What they are selling is a provisioned or shared login, and it breaches OpenAI's terms. Those accounts get terminated, frequently mid-month, and when they do you are chasing a refund from a seller who took an irreversible crypto payment. We are not interested in that business.

What you get here is official redeemable credit applied to your own account, under your own email, with your own conversation history and your own settings. Nobody else has the login. Nothing can be pulled out from under you by an enforcement sweep.

What happens after you pay

You pick a coin, we quote an exact amount and lock the rate for twenty minutes, and you send it from your wallet. When the network confirms, we email you the code. Redeem it on your OpenAI account and the credit is there.

Two honest constraints. First, credit is applied to the account you redeem it on, so redeem it on the account you actually intend to use — that cannot be undone afterwards. Second, once we have emailed the code we cannot tell whether it has been redeemed, so it is not refundable from that point. Everything before it is. And because the code sits in your inbox in plain text, keep that message to yourself: anyone who reads it can redeem it.
